PASADENA — October 26, 2026. Residents planning to attend the Economic Development and Technology Committee meeting at 5 p.m. Monday, October 26 should check the latest calendar: Pasadena now marks that session cancelled.
What is still on the city calendar?
A separate City Council special closed session is listed for 3 p.m. today in City Hall, 100 North Garfield Avenue, Council Chamber Room S249. A closed-session meeting is subject to its own agenda and public participation rules and should not be confused with a cancelled committee hearing.
Several older recurring Council agenda calendars may still list the Economic Development and Technology Committee’s regular fourth-Monday date. The more recent city event calendar explicitly labels the October 26 committee event cancelled. Attendees should use the current city calendar and agenda archive rather than rely on a reminder saved earlier in the month.
What cancellation does not mean
The city does not say the cancellation constitutes approval or rejection of any individual business, technology contract or economic development proposal. Projects must be followed through later agendas and decisions.
Check Pasadena’s official event list for October 26 and the City Council agenda portal before attending a municipal session. Primary source: Pasadena’s currently published meeting schedule.
