PASADENA, Los Angeles County — November 2026 general election. Pasadena voters have given Measure PFD more Yes than No votes, but the displayed share is short of the two-thirds threshold required for this special parcel tax.
What the reported returns show
The NBC Los Angeles results table shows 26,635 Yes votes (65.45%) and 14,059 No votes (34.55%). Two-thirds is approximately 66.67%; the Yes share in this source snapshot is about 1.22 percentage points below that requirement.
How to interpret the result
Measure PFD proposes a parcel tax of 19 cents per building square foot for fire, paramedic, emergency response and wildfire preparedness services. A simple majority would not be enough. The currently reported share falls short, but final passage or rejection awaits additional ballots and official certification.
Source cutoff and certification
This article uses figures displayed in the NBC Los Angeles 2026 election results tracker when checked after the November 3 vote, and where identified, a specifically dated local November 4 report. The NBC page’s publication date is not the timestamp of each individual vote update. These figures are unofficial, and this report does not claim an independently confirmed November 5 county bulletin. Los Angeles County continues counting accepted ballots before certification. Check the registrar for a newer official tally.
