PASADENA, Los Angeles County — November 2026. City and district voters weighed Measure UP, a proposed $485 million bond authorization for Pasadena Area Community College District facilities and career training. The latest published ABC7 results show Yes ahead. The contest is still unofficial.
Ballot count
Yes: 77,184 (73.35%). No: 28,042 (26.65%). The Yes advantage is 49,142 votes in this snapshot.
What Measure UP would do
The official measure covers improvements to classrooms, career training facilities, roofs and infrastructure, with an estimated property tax levy described as $9 per $100,000 assessed value. It needs 55% Yes approval. The ballot is a district election and should not be confused with Pasadena City’s separate Measure PFD fire parcel tax.
Can the outcome change?
Yes. This report uses the ABC7 live November 2026 local election tally retrieved on November 5 (UTC). The provider shows a relative time since updating its table, but the exact timestamp of the county vote batch for this measure has not been independently confirmed. All eligible votes must be canvassed before certification, and a media lead is not the final legal outcome. The county’s official schedule provides further updates on November 5 and 6 and plans certification on November 27.
